Music Production Lessons

Learn the essentials of setting up your first project! We cover everything from understanding audio equipment and studio setup to getting familiar with music production software. Students discover how to connect interfaces, microphones, keyboards, and controllers, and how to start their very first recording session.

High school learners work with GarageBand, an excellent platform for starting out in digital music production. Students explore how to record, edit, and mix their own music while learning fundamental concepts such as track layering, sound design, and basic composition. By the end of the course, they’ll have their own original tracks ready to share.

Adults begin their journey using Logic Pro, a professional-level software ideal for more advanced production. For those interested in incorporating written music or orchestration into their projects, training can also extend into Dorico, a leading notation program. This allows students to integrate traditional music scoring with modern production techniques.

All students learn to create music from scratch—developing their own melodies, beats, and complete compositions. Each participant finishes the program with fully produced projects they can proudly share, post online, and use to begin building their own audience and following.
