Gaia Sings

Gaia Sings is a public ethnomusicology initiative of Pasha Music Education dedicated to exploring the rich musical traditions of cultures around the world. Through music, we discover the histories, identities, beliefs, and experiences that shape humanity.

The project brings ethnomusicology beyond the academic setting and into the community through three interconnected programs:

• Educational Videos: Exploring world music traditions, instruments, history, and cultural practices through the Pasha Music Network YouTube channel.

• Workshops: Interactive learning experiences for children and adults that encourage musical discovery, cultural appreciation, and understanding.

• Live Performances: Concerts and cultural presentations through Pasha Music Presents, bringing the sounds and traditions of the world to the stage.

Our mission is to foster curiosity, cultural understanding, and appreciation for humanity's musical diversity while celebrating music as a powerful expression of our shared human experience.
